About DIRD COLLEGE OF SPECIAL EDUCATION (DCSE)
DIRD College of Special Education is an ISO 9001:2008 certified ’A’ rated institute approved by Rehabilitation Council of India, a statutory body under Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India and affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, located at the GT Karnal Road, Nangli Poona- North Delhi in a barrier free environment with nearest metro connectivity, working in the field of disability for the welfare of Person with Disabilities.
DIRD College of Special Education is the first self-financed institute throughout the North India. The Institute is running Degree level Programme (B.Ed Special Education-Mental Retardation/ID and Hearing Impairment) courses in special education along with practical exposure to students.
DIRD College of Special Education is focused and aimed to develop the specialized human resource for the welfare of persons with special needs and do research in rehabilitation sector for the welfare of differently abled people. The institute is organising Seminar, Workshop, Webinar and National Conference since last 10 years and working on community based rehabilitation programme on wider level covering geographical area of North-West Delhi and keeps organizing the rehabilitation camps on monthly basis.
The ultimate goal of the institute is not only to give degrees to the students but also to develop an advanced rehabilitation professional personnel to full fill the demand of our society in the field of rehabilitation and special education.
