Course Overview

The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Special Education – Intellectual Disability is a professional teacher-training program designed to prepare skilled educators to work with children and individuals with intellectual disabilities. The course focuses on inclusive education, evidence-based teaching strategies, assessment techniques, and holistic development to help learners achieve maximum independence and social integration.

This program equips future special educators with the knowledge, skills, and professional attitude required to teach in special schools, inclusive classrooms, rehabilitation centers, and community-based settings.

Eligibility Criteria

 To be eligible for B.Ed (Special Education) admission in GGSIPU in Delhi-NCR, a candidate must adhere to the following Eligibility Criteria: B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in 10+2 +3 pattern or equivalent thereto.

Selection Criteria

Students must appear in Common Entrance Test conducted by GGSIPU. CET qualified applicants shall be considered for admission, through University Counselling subject to fulfilment of eligibility and admission criteria.
